This video was recorded in Garoowe, the capital of Puntland, where Ethiopian businesses were looted, and their owners were attacked by angry mobs. Instead of protecting Ethiopian migrants, Puntland authorities began abducting them early this morning. They deported trucks full of Ethiopian citizens back to Ethiopia. The main target are Oromo community, which Puntland authorities believe has connections to the Ethiopian ruling elite. This wave of anger seems to stem from Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's restoration of good relations with the president of Somalia, which has left Puntland unhappy with the Somali government. As a result, they are taking out their frustrations on innocent Ethiopian migrants in Puntland.
