Been getting into music production lately which has been a ton of fun. Here's a small snippet of a song I've been working on

There isn't that much black magic involved right? If that's the case then for those curious you can get a similar effect with a decal and a shift in its transparency 👍
These "true combos" showcased in these videos are only for showcase purposes. The player vs player combat requires you to actually land each and every attack unless a move has been programmed to work otherwise

As much as I'd love to make an RPG the scope of that project would get out of hand very quickly especially for our current team. So we're trying out something a little more unique first.
And no it's not a Dungeon Quest game either
@fal_xddd
Assuming that's animated in Blender: How do you handle the spinning motions without gimbal lock haunting your entire animation? Looks really good!
@Jeralt16
So far so good! Dynasty Alpha had some good design in its combat though I wasn't experienced enough to really grasp them in detail until recently. I've taken what I learned from it and improved upon all that I could.
I'd say it's in good hands :)
@Panzerv1_Dev
Oh wow super cool to hear some insight from someone who actually knows sound design! That's one of the many areas I'd love to get into but don't really know how to. Got any tips regarding that? I'd love to plunge in. Thank you very much :)
@milfdooer
Yeah I was sent that yesterday by a friend of mine as well. Guess I gotta start using a watermark. What a shame :(
If you recognize any of the other work please inform the creators as well we really appreciate it!

Try to mimic those movements with your own body and see if it feels natural. If not, try adjusting it. Also go have a look at the 12 principles of animations while at it. You'll find a good video on Youtube
@NikSadAnd
I make them as a sequence in blender and then export them separately. It connects them nicely and makes them seem really fluid when played after one another. The rest is up to simple animation blending in-game.
@Spicy_Dicely
Right now it's nothing but a small combat demo. However that's because its development begun 4-5 days ago and my first focus is perfecting one of its most important core gameplay elements that being the combat you're seeing now.
