No matter what my personal values are: Jesus said to love so that’s what I’m gonna do. I would support a reasonable cut off date & reasonable exceptions. 💯 against a total ban. Change hearts bc you can’t change minds on this issue. No one wants to have an abortion; they want to have sex. Education is the key. Not a total ban on abortion, which some state reps are advocating for at the state level. Abortion goes against every grain of decency for most, but so should allowing unwanted children to end up in foster care for years bc once that baby is born the story changes. Unless every person against abortion is willing to step up and help a child in foster care, then maybe don’t support a total ban.

Schools use Title I (poverty) funds to hire teachers that teach other teachers how to teach. Full time positions - sometimes 1 per building. In addition to $100Ks on professional development & over 1/2 of educators have post-grads or “Highly Qualified” credentials. 🙄

@atrupar Um. He is the executor. Congress holds the purse strings - they do not execute purchases. A school district makes a budget each year. It is just that - a budget to direct funds. But, the Superintendent decides whether or not to make the actual purchases (he executes the budget).

Medicaid got out of control during COVID. COVID is over. Return budgets to at a minimum pre-pandemic amounts. No one needs millions for PPE or other safety measures. It has been a money grab for 4 years. Enough is enough. We had an emergency. We addressed it. Now, time for everyone to tighten their budgets to pay off the “emergency” debt. This is called responsible budgeting. If you need an expensive repair at home, and you have to get it fixed and obtain credit for what you can’t cover out-of-pocket. Then, you pay of the debt by reducing some of your other spending. It is common sense, not rocket 🚀 science.

Africa has so many coveted natural mineral resources. They have more than enough resources to support their own people. America is not the world’s savior. Jesus has that role already. If their citizens do not want to live this way, they have the same choice as other nations before them to revolt against a dictatorship. If you are not willing to die for your convictions, then you really don’t care as much as you thought you did when someone else was footing the bill.

Powerful words that should be heeded as a cautionary tale, not a threat. When good people, who have paid taxes for decades, learn programs (they didn’t support) didn’t even get the money our politicians said they were sending, there will be unrest. When followers of the thieving politicians tell those good people to shut up, there will be push back. Let’s stop there. Shine a light on all of the corruption. Ban all bad actors from all areas of future government, except their right to vote. Correct the course, and move on.
