So nice to have Maggie part of The Kiwi Kids' Bookstore. Whānau is the Māori (indigenous people of Aotearoa New Zealand) name for family. Aotearoa is the Māori name for New Zealand. It means "land of the long white cloud." Kiwi is the bird, the fruit, and the people 😂

My daughter, Mikayla, and her first day teaching. So wonderful to see her in front of a classroom of kids. Mikayla was my inspiration for Maggie and the Mountain of Light and she's still inspiring me! Proud dad moment.
