Vine Revival: Key Updates as of 2/10/25 1. Who’s Behind This? Rus Yusupov, the original creator of Vine (2012), is leading this project. He launched the $VINE token and holds 5% of the 1B supply in escrow until 4/20/25. 2. Funding & Purpose The 5% developer coins are allocated to a future Vine app, the Vine community, and X. 3. X’s Role & Legality X still owns the Vine IP (acquired when Twitter bought Vine, then shut it down in 2016). Using the Vine name without approval could be risky, but X employees are excited about this project—and some are even holders of $VINE. The disclaimer stating that $VINE wasn’t affiliated with X was removed after the first week. 4. X Developers & Testing Over the past few weeks, X devs have interacted with Rus, posted Vine-related content, and tested 6-second videos. Rus' X profile was temporarily restricted, leading to speculation of a legal issue, but X devs kept engaging with the $VINE community. 5. Elon Musk & Large Accounts Elon has frequently talked about bringing back Vine, but hasn’t publicly commented on this project. However, influential accounts close to him (like DogeDesigner, ALX, and Mario) have tweeted about Vine. 6. Hidden Vine Features in X Devs comparing X’s front-end code updates have found "Vine" functions being added. 7. Former Vine Creators Are Returning BATDAD is actively posting old Vine content. Jake & Logan Paul posted a 6-second video teasing their fight (later revealed as a reality show). More large accounts are now posting 6-second, square-framed videos. 8. Rus’ Comeback & Community Engagement On 2/4/25, he emailed the $VINE waitlist with a link to the official Telegram and posted a selfie video confirming his identity. He’s been active in Telegram, hinting at plans like a Super Bowl ad (which didn’t happen). On 2/7/25, his X account was restored, and he posted: > "I had to be silent for a bit and for a bit longer, but just know that big things are coming." He changed his profile picture to an edited Elon image with Vine symbols for eyes. 9. Current Hype (2/10/25) Rus posted a poll today: "ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS?" → 10K+ votes, 83% say YES. At 3:45 CST, users noticed that old Vine videos on X now have a Vine logo in the bottom-right corner. Bottom Line: Something big is brewing. Vine revival seems closer than ever.

Yes rightly said, greedy people please stay away otherwise you are going to cry lot, and don’t bring that energy to the $vine community please.
Memes created from greed attract the wrong kind of energy. But those with a pure mission, with a cause to rally around, have the longevity of a DREAM.

They trust @rus @elonmusk and the project, but the people who are crying when price go down and selling are 🤡 and don’t see things properly, they thought single night will pump and dump and become millionaires, $vine is not the one, its diamond,
