I’m just heartbroken hearing about the passing of Grayson Murray. He was a friend to me at some of my lowest points in my career and I’ll always be appreciative of that. I will miss him very much but I know he is in good hands now. 🙏🏽

Wyndham Clark shot 75 (+4) in Round 1 and could have easily mailed it in with only the top 3 being rewarded. Plays the final 54 holes in 15 under par and finishes the tournament at -11. Has been a tough 2nd half of the year but credit to him for grinding out a nice tournament.

Takeways from course.- slope on greens severe on some and very flat on others.- rough around green is way worse than fway rough.- important tee balls 10,12,13,14,18. Miss the fway on those holes and it will be hard to get it on the green .- holes 5,7,8,11,14,17 are the 🐦 holes.

More players now setup very square on their pitch shots. It allows for more center of face contact which will create more spin (path neutral). Old school style was open setup and (cut pattern) more toe hits landing softer. Both can be effective
