Why do most modern shooters have such weak weapon sounds? UT and Quakes were like BOOM WOOOSH KAPOW BWEOOOM and now you got taktaktaktak pling click pffs, like floey guys playing with coins and cans in the studio.
Even Doom Eternal's guns sound so quiet during combat.

These new enemies got me panicking. They're on a whole new level compared to EP1 enemies. Kinda feels like the very old INCISION demos where every enemy was on steroids.

Horror, especially indie horror, has forgotten that horror means actually scaring the player and is now just about chasing trends and Youtuber bait. Horror theme alone doesn't make a horror game.

Bossfights aren't a test of patience for me, but stealth is. When I die to a hard boss I just want to rush back to the bossroom to try again. If I fail a long stealth section I feel like I just earned more time to *sit in one place patiently and wait for guards to move*.

Super shotgun with a twist: Each pellet deals 2x damage if shot from a near point-blank range (5m).
Requires rare special ammo, and has Doom 3 shotgun-tier spread, but rewards you with incredible damage if wielded properly.

The "Incompatible". Those rejected by the machine are left to wander the earth in half-constructed state as barely sentient biowaste without purpose. But hey, killing em might drop some ammo so they can't be entirely useless. Very much inspired by Blood's helpless "Innocents".

Thought for a long time about how I should bring even a little storytelling into the world of INCISION, the kind that never halts gameplay.
Ended up with subtle secret points which player must focus on for a few seconds to get small lore bits. Pardon if the grammar is weird lel
