@zojashii Actually, OEMs listen to their users more than app developers, and contrary to what many might think, app devs don’t have privileged channels to contact them. The best suggestion is to report the issue to their support team, enough complaints can make a difference!

The experience could be better, maybe with an external certification to guarantee the safety of the app you’re installing. But we’re not there yet, so for now, @Google is doing the right thing.
