The employee shortage is only getting worse in Vegas. A LOT of employees are jumping ship to Resorts World to get in on the ground floor. Gives them a chance to pick their shifts and no seniority to overcome.
@LasVegasLocally
Planet Hollywood doesn't get as much love as it should. Good rooms, some decent dining options, great location, good dealers and a good vibe on the floor. I have never turned down beautiful women dancing in front of me either.
Was speaking with a dealer last night who’s wife works at Circa and found out some interesting stuff. Staff turnover is already really high. Employees have no EDR and must pay for food from vending machines. Employees also have to pay $40/month to park offsite. (1/2)
@VitalVegas
Tipping the slot attendant is customary and anything more than $50 is generous and appreciated. The amount of the jackpot doesn’t matter and shouldn’t effect the tip amount. $200 is reasonable in any situation and belittling these people will stop them from tipping at all.
This is just a reminder to all gamblers - if things aren't going your way and your luck is poor, color up and walk away for a short bit. Hit the reset button at a new table or a new game. Your mind will thank you and your wallet may as well. (btw, i'm terrible at doing this)
@VitalVegas
All employers have requirements for employment and this doesn’t violate any protected areas. Nevada is at-will employment and this doesn’t violate any protected classes.
Our buddy
@VegasDuffy
had a hell of a roll and I didn’t get a great picture towards the end, but a huge swing into the positive by the time he went out. Hit the tall twice!
@stevegrantz
Say what? You think it’s wise to charge employees to park at their job - even when they are getting below market wages? I don’t follow this one.
I apologize to everyone's DMs and stuff I haven't responded to recently. Have a family health issue that is taking up all my time and thoughts. Have some patience with me and keep my family in your thoughts (and prayers if that matters to you).
I wish my real world friends were half as supportive as my Vegas friends. You guys are awesome and it’s amazing what a great community that exists if you weed out a couple bad apples! Cheers.
I'm 2 hours into putting a craps table together and have reached the point where I cannot screw in bolts into the rail from the bottom by myself... that being said, I'm super excited. Other than a new layout, table is terrific.
Successful weekend at Aria.

Looking forward to recapping on the next pod. Give us a listen if you haven’t!
I lost my dad a few months ago and wish everyday I had more time to spend with him. Doing my best to follow in his footsteps for my kids. Happy Father’s Day to all my friends on here. Enjoy every moment of it.
I wish one casino would go all in on theming in this market and see how it goes. I don't even care what the theme is, but buy in 100% and make guests feel immersed.
We just played with the rudest Dont player I’ve ever seen. He also took a $200k marker and had no problem flaunting. Overall, we’re up for the night and having a great time!
Yes, still very frustrated
@WynnLasVegas
sponsoring an event for the scam artist D Lucky. EZ Life Slots put out a new video on Youtube today reminding people how this scammer works - highly recommend you check it out.
How was due diligence skipped here??
Forgot to mention yesterday, but I am still a slot expert. Used my system, immediately hit a hand pay (after losing a few thousand first testing it out). Taking pre orders soon.
@TravelFanboy
approved.
Biggest takeaway of the weekend was how far the Cromwell has dropped from when it re-opened. It’s a shell of what it once was and the only thing saving it are the dealers. Unfortunately, even some of those are struggling. Makes me sad.
My friend
@vegasduffy
and I are launching an online craps community for all the gamblers that are just as obsessed as we are. We need help getting started with some sample content and to test some features as we get going. If interested in helping, message me!
@VitalVegas
They can sue all they want, but won’t win. They are employees and the casino can require whatever they like of them internally as long as all treated equally.
Thank you to everyone who sent me some very nice messages about the first part of my gambling addiction story. Part 2 will be up on Sunday. If you are interested in checking it out, visit:

What do you think is the most commonly shared photo from Vegas on social media?
My choice... view of Bellagio fountains and strip from Cosmo balconies at night.
This is something that used to be a bigger topic for me before becoming a credit player, but something I still advise people NOT to do. Don't carry large sums of money with you through an airport, unless you are are willing to lose it.
Last night was a lot of fun. Dinner with
@TravelFanboy
very enjoyable. We tier matched at Mirage but couldn’t find a $15 table to play at. Today, at Wynn all day - Park around 6 and Rio after most likely. DM Josh for more - he is more responsive 😂
So I never knew that even mentioning playing the don’t would piss off so many people. Josh and I will discuss more on the next episode of Crap Vegas with special guest
@TravelZork
