After 18 months living in a hotel, I’m moving into a staff house tomorrow. Mad to think I’ve been living in Skye for 18 months literally having been brought up here with an ex who left a year ago. It’s now my home.

Today my parents met someone who is very special to me, and the follow up message from my mum was just perfect. He’s perfect ❤️

My dad has emailed me checking which week I’m on at work so him and mum know my shift pattern. He then prints it off and sticks it on the fridge so mum knows when to catch me on my time off. I’m 37, and I love this so much 😊

During these lockdowns I find myself going out on really long walks to help my mind and so I can see some sights, especially as living alone can be quite hard. I send my dad my live location and he tracks the routes I take from his computer, then sends me bits of information...

Starting in a new job today and I always feel anxious about my new colleagues finding out who I really am. Will they guess from the way I talk, or dress? Will they accept me for it? It shouldn’t be a big deal in 2021, and I’m proud to say it. I’m VEGAN.
