It’s crazy how your body can store memory of traumatic events. It’s called somatic memories/symptoms and basically it’s like physical sensing or re-experiencing a flashback randomly or around the time frame it happened, whether you consciously recognize/realize it or not.

My mom is a lawyer & literally gave me this exact advice when my BD was on bullshit. If you’re in a similar situation with a toxic partner I highly recommend to KEEP ONLY YOUR NAME ON THE BC.
