@CoreyBrennanFF They should’ve built him up more before thrusting him into the main event scene, but LA Dojo boys are fucking great. Just have him wrestle strong style and he’ll be fine.

@collixioncowboy It’s a lot of things combined. AJ got injured, Vinci/Apollo got shafted, and one of these two not getting belted up after at CJ. HHH literally destroyed SmackDown’s midcard depth and didn’t do anything to fix it up until recently.

@hangerblade Made him a story beat in a non-title storyline between JD, repeated the same opponents, and now he’s about to lose his belt to someone he beat three times in a fucking row… mad.

@figgymae idk know either lmao. I think I’d be less mad if other “over” wrestlers got their due when it made sense. Chad, at his peak, was over and had a great story to tell with Gunther at WM 40… didn’t happen. Knight was over, didn’t win MITB.

@Carroll22__ Joe Hendry was over with the audience as well… Doing Gunther/Jey 4 as a WM ME knowing the level that Jey operates is asinine considering the other options they had. Also, we gotta stop acting like he’s so ASTRONMICALLY over compared to the others.

@figgymae He had a quiet, but very successful improvement year in 2024. Definitely developed his character and his matches definitely gotten 10x better. Kind of a nice success story in all honesty. However, I do think it’d be a premature departure if he decides to go somewhere else.
