I think the solution to this as usual is to just be clear about setting accurate expectations. People who want lots of hours should know what they’re getting. I put a big “game hours” banner at the top of my store page. They can’t leave a bad review if they never buy the game!

Don't sleep on the Alone In The Dark remake!
Not only is it a gorgeously realized cosmic horror story with a compelling narrative and atmosphere, but it's also uniquely a modern game that requires you to actually read, and did a great job of making you feel like a detective.

I paid full price on release and easily got my money’s worth because the short length encouraged me to do a lot of the challenge based runs I usually skip. Not to mention it’s just impeccably paced. I do wish there were more Nemesis stalker sections though.
