ā€œItā€™s got to be explicit and itā€™s got to be modeled and practiced to become THEIR habitā€. Strongly recommend that you add this one to your reading list and PD plans to teachers and admins. Good partner read to Make it Stick, How Learning Happens, Understanding How We Learn, etc.
