Exploring a part of Lowestoft led me to a beautiful & very overgrown cemetery. There was definitely a somber feeling from being here as well as feeling that early autumnal vibe kick in.

It's amazing how an artist starts off with one particular medium before ultimately transitioning onto a different one, it happens providing more chances are given for experimentation. Just look at James Gunn.

There were plans to adapt François Schuiten & Benoît Sokal's comic Aquarica into a film. Unfortunately however news on it seems to have completely dried up & it might have something to do with Sokal's passing back in 2021.

Anyone remember the Warhammer 40k film Ultramarines? Because it had a pretty stacked cast of names like John Hurt, Sean Pertwee, Donald Sumpter & of course. Terence Stamp. He was pretty good in it as Captain Severus.

When this franchise veers off into intimately personal stories with the human cast rather than just focus primarily on big action set pieces, you know you're going to get something really good & Charlie Watson was one of the best human allies that the live action films ever had.
A reminder that Bumblebee 2018 and Rise of the Beasts will always be the superior live-action Transformers films because it gave us them. ❤️

Interesting fact: Yuri Norstein's adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's The Overcoat has been in development for literally 40. YEARS. When you look at the development of how long this film has been going on for it's heartbreaking that we might never see it's completion in our lifetime.
