@EmmanuelAcho But what should matter is Lamar won the award JUST LAST YEAR with MEDIOCRE quarterbacking stats. The narrative surrounding him was team win loss record while possessing the leagues top defensive unit. The same standards this year says Lamar CANNOT win.

@BearsPurgatory Certainly one of the best I’ve seen. However I like Kareem AND Bird Tier 2 over Shaq. In fact, gun to head: Kareem over Shaq and Bird over Magic if pressed to sub 2 for 2. Ultimately think both Bird AND Magic belong in tier 2. And finally Russell over Wilt. But great rank overall

@sgellison Let me also add to this. Lamar blew a 10 point lead at home IN THE FOURTH quarter to a 10 point underdog in Las Vegas. And lost to the Cleveland browns who have 3 wins. One of which is Jacksonville. Based on the standard set LAST YEAR to give him the award, he’s not in the convo.
