Johnson will never be anywhere near as good as Trae. His ceiling is like a third option maybe. Just keep Trae/Johnson, trade everyone else, draft Sarr and then fill the roster with shooters and perimeter defense.

Sarr got a low usage rate & came off the bench this season and still looks like the best player in the draft. Now imagine if he started every game and got utilised like Wemby did. He clearly seems like a good number 1 pick and he had 6 blocks & 3 steals in a g league ignite game

Giddey isn't really a negative asset. He's still very young and had to play out of position for Shai. Very elite passer too. He will be a lot better next season where he will get to play in his actual position (point guard).

No it isn't because Paul Reed is bad. Awful claim from you. It's cos the team around Embiid is shit. We had the corpse of Kyle Lowry starting aswell as bums like Oubre & Tobias Harris. Paul Reed had a good net rating swing last season with Harden for example.

Embiid is a good rebounder when you surround him with good perimeter defenders as it means he doesnt have to move far away from the paint defensively. Go look at how good he was at it in 20-21 when he had Ben, Matisse & Danny on the perimeter.

They had one of their big accounts rewrite history by lying, claiming Brunson outplayed Embiid when he didn't.
Embiid averaged 33/11/6 on 59.2 TS% and a was a +46 (highest in series) with 1 steal & 2 blocks
Brunson averaged 35/5/9 on 52.5 TS% and was a -8 in the series

We had a bottom 5 offensive rating in the league in the games Embiid missed this season and in the playoffs the team shot under 30% from the field when Embiid was off the floor + our offensive rating was under 80 in those minutes.

Embiid is s far better playmaker than Giannis in 2023. Its not even a debate either. We have a top 3 offense whilst the Bucks don't and our offensive rating is the best of all time in games embiid played. Embiids better than giannis at everything apart from finishing.

Heat can't sign him when they've got Jimmy/Bam/Herro all on big contracts. I don't see how Siakam would be a great fit with Sabonis. Knicks can't resign Siakam since they need to pay OG. And the Thunder won't have the cap space longterm as Shai/Chet/JDub are max extensions

He isn't a better passer for one. And saying Embiid can't read double teams is fan fiction. Embiid only doesn't pass out of doubles when he has useless players that run away from the ball and pass up wide open 3s like Tobi and Tucker. Also passing out of doubles isn't hard.

A better picture is the Harden trade ngl. No team trades their second best player for scraps, keeps number 12 and then gets better. Embiid would have to play significantly better than prime MJ & LeBron for the 2024 Sixers to win a championship.
