FOR STUDENTS pursuing courses in the construction industry here is my 2025 advice: Be a desperate student of local and global construction industry. And I mean desperate. Understand deeply the issues bedevilling this sector and plausible solutions - clients want solutions. Understand deeply how and where you fit in. Have no illusions. You are dealing with a fast-changing, highly fragmented and stubbornly fractured industry. You give yourself an 80% survival chance upon graduation if you immensely understand this industry. Now get to work...
