Diana’s friends stepping in while she’s gone. Do you know how beautiful that is? Your friends looking after your children after you’re gone and they’re grown adults? Whew. That’s FRIENDSHIP
I love that feeling when you talk stuff out with someone and you both become aware that neither of you were wrong. You just saw the scenario differently. Talking really should be about seeing things from their perspective, rather than the need to be right.
I wanted to film some at home ab workouts so I thought I’d stop being lazy and get a yoga mat. So many were sold out but I finally got mine in the post and-
One of my guy friends told he wanted to approach a certain woman but immediately decided against it because she was doing well in life and he wasn’t. And it made me think, there are still some men who see women thriving and choose not to scatter their lives. Good. Leave her alone

-exercise daily, e.g: yoga
-de clutter your living space

If my dad hears that I have period pains, it’s like his whole day is ruined. He will be falling over himself to make sure I’m ok. ‘Do you have painkillers,’ ‘you need peppeh soup?’ He will let everyone in the house know Oghosa is unwell 😂
I can never settle for a small boy.
Look at
@MarcusRashford
’s timeline. My gosh, restaurants and kitchens all over the country are opting to help feed hungry children. These are the same businesses who are struggling to survive this year. WHEW.
If the influencer industry was male dominated, it wouldn't be hard to see content creation as a business and as entrepreneurship. But because it's an industry dominated by women, people think it takes less intelligence.
I have to marry a romantic man. My church aunty said she did a home cooked meal for her man with candles all over the house and he walked in screaming ‘has nepa taken light??’
Faye’s situation is a really scary example of how badly your fears and past relationship traumas can force you to look for cracks that aren’t even there. Whewwwww
#loveIsland
This is so interesting.
1. the contestants earn £250 a week on the show. So she donated £750 to the NHS.
2. The party she votes for actively starve the NHS of support and funding.
3. She can earn £750 in her sleep from sponsorships anyway so this seems strategic
Isles of Scilly. Which I’d NEVER heard of til I got on the Googler. Like...YA’LL THIS IS IN ENG-ER-LAND?? Just off the coast of Cornwall. It has white sand beaches, stunning boat trips and surprisingly tropical and botanical gardens.
Tips my therapist gave me for better sleep:
-strict sleep routine
-long shower before bed
-no phone/TV for 1 hour before bed
-get in bed & listen to soothing music to prep your body
-no eating before bed
-get an accountability partner
-lavender spray
-read for 30 mins in bed
Alderney. This is in the Channel Islands. It was invaded by the Germans in WW2 and has lots of forts and bunkers. It also has incredible sea views, beaches, and great seafood. Inject it into my veins.
Was at my parents for the weekend, getting ready to go out. My dad saw me and was like ‘you haven’t done your usual tings where you style your edges fancy’. I told him it’s cause I forgot my edge control. He left silently and ran back and said ‘you can use this!?’
IF I- 🤣🤣
Stratford upon Avon. Noooo not the one in east london. This is the West Midlands. It’s Shakespeare’s birth place and the home to his wife Ann Hathaway (no, not the Queen of Genovia, another one). Lots of pubs, literary history, cottages and pretty views.
The Isles of Scilly
👀England is that you? There is *actual* white sand on Pentle Bay and apparently it’s fairly quiet even in summer. It’s much warmer on the Isles of Scilly than is normal for the UK.
LDN Distance: 6 hrs drive (i know. You can also fly?)
Staying? £140 a night
This time last year I was depressed, almost broke and ready to quit being a content creator. A year later my income is up by 600%, I'm working and getting approached by huge brands weekly and I have a beautiful new flat. Reminding myself to keep slaying in my lane. So grateful.

you are absolutely complicit in this. Your white woman fragility and role as the ‘reasonable onlooker’ who sits beside him is ending. And you have the gall to be silent when this is targeted at a woman? Do you have shame? Don’t think we don’t see it.
Cirencester Cottage in the Cotswolds area. HELLO?! 😍
Cost: £90 a night
Guests: 2
One bedroom, one bathroom, WiFi. It’s very cosy and has an indoor fireplace. I mean...this place WANTS you to make babies in it. Or go solo like ‘The Holiday’
Cornwall. If you’re a fan of Poldark (it me), then you KNOW how bomb Cornwall looks. It has Cornish pasties, hills, valleys, moors, great hiking spots and the mineck theatre, which is STUNNING.
One of my FAVES, Holland Park has beautiful gardens that make you feel like you aren't in the UK (which, I think you'll agree, is an instant bonus right now) Kyoto garden is its main attraction with its Japanese style landscape. And yes, it's free.
When these black players have major hands in the team’s success, they’re ignored and overlooked. When they are (unfortunately) involved in the loss of a game, they’re blamed and scapegoated.
Porthcurno beach
Now if you harbour a Poldark fantasy like I do, you’ll love this stunning Cornish beach. There are swimmers and surfers there. It’s close to the STUNNING Minack theatre which is also on my visit hit list.
LDN Distance: 6 hours
Staying? £150 a night
My dad legit just loves being a dad. I asked him if he ever feels like he needs ‘me time’ and he was like ‘no, I really like being around my children. I can’t understand why you guys like being alone in your rooms.’
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
The Ash, a deluxe and really unique apartment in Marion (close to Hereford)

Finances are important but it’s not just about that here. It’s about if you can add to her life in every capacity. If you’re not in the right space to provide emotional, physical, spiritual, financial support etc…Then really she’s better off single. And he knew that.

Black girls are in white influencers comment sections, thanking them for talking about racism. Which is like thanking your husband for not cheating on you. Tapped, some of you-tapped.
Good morning,
I’d like to announce that I have officially signed on as a brand ambassador for m&m’s chocolates!! After 8 years of being online, this is my first deal. It’s unreal. I truly, truly thank God from the bottom of my heart. All glory goes to him.
Cambridge. You can go punting (kinda like the gondolas in Venice but like...not *as* sexy) but it looks like FUN! There’s incredible architecture, museums and you can get admission to see the universities for like £9.
Twitter is the one place you get flogged for giving away free resources. Bruh, if you live up north, make a thread on beaches up north? If you feel like beaches in the UK suck, ignore the thread and stay in your yard. It's not hard.
*trigger warning
Haven’t spoken about this because I thought it would be detrimental. I’m in a good space to say it now.
In 5 days it’ll make it 5 months since I last self harmed. I’ve cut, punched, burned, scratched but I’ve made it almost 5 months for the 1st time in 2 years🙌🏾
Durdle Door on Jurassic Coast

The UK Music scene is sketchy.
Women like Ray BLK & Nadia Rose are incredibly talented but they’re constantly overlooked and the Mabel’s, RAYE’s etc aren’t.
There’s a PLETHORA of dark skinned black men artists popping off so its clear misogynoir & colourism are at work.
Leonardo Royal Hotel

When my fam and I were flying back from holiday we saw a man scrolling on his phone. The phone had hundreds of images of half naked babies and children that he’d saved from social media. My brother alerted the police when we landed. Please be discerning when posting your children
Starting of 2021 with a BA-YANG! Your girl is in Vogue!!! I pledged to work with several black owned brands and create free content for them and one brand was featured in Vogue!! How dope!

Battersea Park. Big Up my Wandsworth people dem! You guys have a gorgeous park with fountains, a large lake and a gallery in the park (check for safety measures and opening times). It has a zoo as well but thats gross and we don't condone that around here! Otherwise-sexy!
Joss Bay, Kent. Super Close to London A very peng sandy beach with an old town vibe. If you wanna learn to surf (and I do) there are surf schools nearby. There are cute little cottages you can stay in too.
LDN Distance: 2 hours drive

I know some people like to be asked ‘hey hun, how are you?’ before they’re asked for a favour. But sometimes I just like a straight shooter. Just ask me for the thing you want so I can say yes or no and be on my way.
I have a black woman therapist, she understands my experience & has changed my life.
Many people are looking for a black therapist and a great network to find one is ‘The Black, african & Asian therapy network’.
Please RT for someone who needs this!!!
Dear first born daughters in quarantine,
It’s not your responsibility to raise your siblings. It’s not your responsibility to fix your parents. It’s not your responsibility to keep things together. It’s not your job to change people’s behaviour.

I'd actually bog off to loads of different areas in the UK and post about it if you guys would be open to a collab? I emailed y'all twice with no response. Maybe a thread with 4K likes will change your mind? Let me know
Same thing goes for when I’m sick in any way to be honest. He will pretty much put his day on pause, put on his shoes on and go and buy ingredients for pepper soup. Regardless of the ailment, pepper soup is the cure 😂 He will bring my breakfast to my room on a tray. 🥰
Hampstead Heath: You may have seen this park in a few movies, (like Been So Long with Michaela Coel, it's on Netflix, anyway) it has an INSANE view of london. There's lakes and you can even go swimming for £4 if you book in advance. It's VERY buff.
Dalloway Terrace!
Grub you get: two courses, tea and juice
Funds needed: £35 pp!
Super instagrammable and cosy + great service. Do not get the yoghurt granola. Don't ask.
MOVE OVER CENTRAL PARK. Our Next contestant: Regent's Park. This one's a bit more known but rarely fully explored. There are gardens, little waterfalls and this mega romantic bridge thats perfect for snogging (not that I'd know ofc). It's a park you can really get lost in.
Last but not least-Richmond park. Okay this one is a trek. It is. BUT it has the Isabella Plantation gardens which are stunning. It's also the home to wildlife like actual DEERS. It's a National Nature Reserve for wildlife as well as a park!
