Except it is. The term doesn't mean Israel is exclusive to one ethnic group but rather that one ethnic group has more rights. Though perhaps you're right in that "apartheid state" is a better term.
I also used to think there was no apartheid.
Then I served in the IDF in the West Bank and enforced separate legal systems for Israelis and Palestinians.
Willingness to change your position is not a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of ability to think critically and reflectively.
