Wow, that’s a lot to unpack, Kledd. I agree, but never thought about it that deeply. To your point, I think Jo fits the "adult groomer" mold. Chp35, Jo notices Ian’s "obedience" & uses that to worm his way into Ian's life. Similar to DK - who was a groomer.

Chp 52 was difficult to read. The illustrations were well-done, but the content of the sex scene was brutal. I found Jo to be extremely controlling of Ian and out of control himself. His method of delivering water to Ian was controlling, not stopping when Ian begged him

I don't believe they will be together. YW will go on his own if TJ lets go. This scene, I feel, it's YW's thinking how to handle Jo. He cares about him but doesn't want the rship. Jo keeps him busy with sex & not giving him a moment to think about TJ. But it's not working.

Not sure where/what u r reading. Where in the story is TJ forcing YW to stay? S1-S2, YW is free to live his life. TJ only wants YW's safety & happiness, even if it means it is without TJ. Hence, when he sees Jo & still walked away. I don't understand how some readers don't read.

I see YW's love for TJ as clear as mud. I still do not see the love 📐 here. Jo is falling in love with Ian. Ian does like Jo, but the love is with TJ. TJ loves YW. There are no connections to form a triangle.

I believe YW had feelings for TJ. YW is a very complex character. He finds it hard to acknowledge his feelings or even understand what it all means. He is constantly questioning himself. Articulating his emotions of love, is another battle.

Watching Jo "comfort" Ian must've been gut-wrenching for TJ, yet he had the strength to walk away from his love. It just proves how much TJ cares for Ian, his Youngwoo!

It's hard for me to say that Jo accepts Ian. It's not that fluid. I feel Jo tolerates Ian's behaviour/choices at this stage, but his controlling nature over Ian indicates to me that, no, he would change many aspects of Ian's character once he has him all to himself.

Jo is in deep shit right now. I don't see him letting go of Ian easily, even if Ian chooses not to go with Jo. Jo is a sociopath. He uses his charms & charisma to manipulate others. His cousin, Chris, is well aware of Jo's crazy side. TJ knows it too. Ian has to wake up.

Yeap, so true. Jo's scene was an assault on an unconscious body; no matter what the author says. She may have not intended for this interpretation, but it is what it is. Jo's character can also be defined as an adult groomer. As for TJ, he did none of those things.

I don't think it's easy to walk away from the gang. TJ stayed so that YW could leave. It's too dangerous for both of them to leave. TJ is actioning a big plan. If that's successful then he will walk away, but it may be too late for the two to be 2gether.
