Finally have a month's worth of recipes in this collection ❤️
Latest additions in this collection include the noodles I make when I'm feeling lazy and the chettinad chicken I make when I feel like going above and beyond to prepare a tasty meal!
My 2023 side project was curating this collection of easy to cook recipes 🍛
It was so easy and so fulfilling to do ❤️
Reminder to myself to add more recipes to it this year!
It was Day 2 at Obvious. And I got my period. I was relieved when I found that the bathrooms were stocked with menstrual supplies.
I didn’t have to go home, I didn’t have to awkwardly ask my (extremely) new colleagues if they had an extra sanitary napkin. Thank god for that.
A photograph on your desk, a spot for a midday nap or some snacks hidden in the locker. You make the office your own.
You begin to love the space you spend so much time in. It becomes, rather is, a second home.
Share a photo of your favourite thing about your office.
It would be so cool if

collaborated on spa packages for folks who work out - something like 25% off on a foot or a full body massage after you do 25 cult classes. A small reward for pushing yourself eh? 🏋️♀️ 💆♀️
Why do I always feel inspired to write essays about my life during the working day, three minutes before I have to join a meeting and never on a Saturday when I'm wasting time staring at an ugly bird from my balcony? 😭😭😭
This is done in such poor taste.

"Buy a cheese overloaded pizza which can make you fat. Buy an OTT subscription to watch content that will be of no help to you."
You can create good marketing content without shaming people and pulling down other products/orgs.
I’m a collector. I’ve been collecting recipes from the age of eleven — cooking the ones I love again and again, discarding the ones that don’t quite work. 🗒️
Sharing some of these recipes is one way of sharing this love for food, so here goes! 🍜
Restaurants in blr have a waitlist of a month!! I'm happy for them and their flourishing business but what happened to being able to walk into a restaurant and have a meal?
I completed 2 years at
@obvious_in
earlier this week. Yet when someone asks me what I do at Obvious, I rarely have a one word answer. How do I condense so much varied work in one word? 🧵

Over a decade of writing, I’ve had many phases of manic creation and many phases of feeling totally lost. All the phases of creation have had one thing in common — I knew why I was writing, how I’d like to write and what I wanted to write about.
The Golden Circle of Writing. 🖊️
Best way to improve your drawing skills is to hang out with a toddler. Since last night, my nephew has asked me to draw a whale, an elephant, a caterpillar, a mouse, a "billi cat" (😂) and just a hundred other animals. The caterpillar has been the easiest one so far🐛
Such a lovely time
@BlrLitFest
this weekend! I saw this non-tech, non-business side of Bangalore and it was so refreshing!
Listening to writers talk about their writing process and being a part of so many conversations about books, I felt like a literature student again ❤️
Look I love my family and I love being at home, but why do they have to make pudina chutney and run a food processor at 8 in the morning when I'm still sleeping 😭😭😭
I plan to run a 10K on my birthday, which is a month from now. I am three weeks into my training plan and I have four weeks to go. Going to document my journey to 10K here for the coming month. Not that anyone cares, but I’m still going to do it. (1/n)
Big big thank you to
@ButtonConf
for the equity scholarship to attend Button virtually next week!
Going to be on geek mode for my first content design conference 🤓
One thing that adulthood makes room for is an inter-generational group of friends. I love it —friends aged 25 to 35 just yapping away and being silly geese together 🥰
It’s not often that all 35 of us meet at our Bangalore HQ. But when we do, there are scores of ideas floating around — and we invite you to join in! Bring your design, engineering & culture conversations to the Chambers of Ideas this Thursday 💡RSVP:
So rude of my phone to just switch off Instagram after 5 minutes because it's on focus mode. Like do you mind I'm in the middle of watching the 28th corgi reel of the day.....
Looking for a 2bhk in Cambridge layout, Indiranagar 2nd stage or Richmond town. Want to move by May 1st. Come on Twitter, do your thing and find me a house.
This last month, I recommended books to three friends and they loved them. So on absolutely no one's request, I'm curating a list of all the books I've read and enjoyed.
Starting here:
One of those rare months when I pressed the Publish button twice.
Hope to have more cab rides where I suddenly find the right words and late nights when I turn voice notes I sent to myself into essays.
January was a good month 🥰
UP topper Prachi Nigam wishes she had scored a mark or two less so that she wouldn’t be highlighted and trolled for her different looks. This is the collective failure of our society in not only making a child uncomfortable in her skin but also showing her that her hard work and
For someone who doesn't enjoy watching sports, it's surprising how much I love sports documentaries. The Last Dance. The Playbook. Naomi Osaka. Beckham. Just love it ❤️
“We all need to be careful what “elevator” we get into early in our careers. Some go up, some go down, some don't move. It's largely beyond our control, so choose wisely.”
When I joined Obvious last December, I secretly wished that we would someday offer communications as a service. And "someday" is here!
We write microcopy, articulate your org culture and strengthen internal communication. More about us here:

Launching our all new offering: The Obvious Communications Studio! Simply put, we change your “lorem ipsum”s to meaningful words. But what does that really mean? 🤔
This time next week I will be working out of a physical office with colleagues around me. I have one week to learn to be discrete and politically correct at work after talking absolute shit in my room for a whole year. Fuck.
I'd come back home from college by 5, and bring my nutty dog to this park.
He'd stop to smell every little thing and I'd fight with people to let me walk my dog in peace. Came here after years today and it felt like this craziness was just happening yesterday ❤️
UX writing is where product design was 10 years ago. It will take a few years for it to become more commonplace, a must have rather than a good to have.
I write for the UX Content Collective on what it will take for UX writing to flourish in India:
It’s a misconception that creative work like writing happens in a chaotic way. That you write when you have a flash of inspiration and you write for 4 hours straight and come out with a masterpiece at the end of it.
Started using
@arcinternet
last week. Jury's out on the browser experience but the microcopy in the onboarding experience was just 🤌🤌🤌
My favourite was "No, I was looking for new socks"
The first veggie I learnt to cook was Capsicum. I had just moved to blr &
@sreshtea
not only shared her recipes, but answered my amateurish questions.
Many recipes in this collection are hers. I call it (quite unimaginatively) the Srishti collection:
I'm moving out of home for the first time in my life and my mom's primary concern is who will give my dog medicine once I leave. There's literally nothing else she's more worried about.
Another example that demonstrates that knowledge work often doesn't look like "work" as we understand it. Sometimes it requires getting up from your desk, leaving the office and going for a walk.
I'd love a Spotify-wrapped kinda insight into what I've been eating and enjoying the most 🥪
I think this year's favourite ingredients were cherry tomatoes, aubergine and broccoli 🥦
It needs to be concise, helpful and wherever possible, delightful. To raise the bar for microcopy, UX writers must embrace iteration. ✏️
@sidika08
writes about how UX writers might build iteration into their writing process:
I made friends with a Taiwanese couple while I was travelling and now we follow each other on Instagram but all her posts and stories are captioned in Taiwanese and I just want to know what she's saying so I know what she's upto 😭😭😭
Twelve out of thirty people in my office have tested positive for Covid. Bangalore Municipal Corporation is going to have a field day with contact tracing cases from this one.
Seeing
@tejasvisoi
take all my recommendations for what to do, where to eat and where to stay in Coorg makes me feel like I could make some money from my vacation spreadsheets 🤔
I was feeling uninspired with life and felt that I lacked a sense of of purpose. I thought giving myself a concrete goal to work towards would give me that. (3/n)
Such a lovely book! Makes you feel a debt of gratitude for all the women who fought battles so that our lives today would be easier and fills you with courage to break away from artificial boundaries ❤️
I've been using Twitter too much as a dump for my most random thoughts and not sharing enough about what I've been doing in my smol corner of the internet. So here goes —
