Been thinking about the concept of bedside homeostasis when rounding— turn lights back off, move bedside table back to bedside, pull blanket back up— basic things that respect the patient’s tiny remaining autonomy. Some MDs get it. Others don’t. Teachable?

@TbmCure 🥹 Seeing this transformation is so inspirational. What a privilege to have been part of the massive team @BIDMChealth that helped with this. I literally just was speaking to some ICU folks today about seeing awesome pics like this of him now and then.

Does not dispute the fact that this technology is amazing and can be value added. Just doesn’t look like it in this case unless they weren’t a candidate for a wedge.
