Appreciating your point, Wendy. Play is also intrinsically part of being human, for all ages. Behind fun, lies spontaneity, challenging culture and freedom.
On #IDOP, let's recognise play's importance AND not romanticise it. Play is amoral. Inequalities that exist outside of play are present within it and can mean it's not fun for all players, and may be harmful. I say this as someone who has advocated for play all my working life

I remember writing about #volunteerism for the @UN #youth report a few years back. The UK announcement today is riddled with values contradictions, you couldn't make it up. 0h, wait...

Wonderful Nar! Is there a recording?
Exploring how folklore isn't just stories but a healing balm for the soul, I shared insights with a diverse audience of artists, academics, and practitioners. Folklore isn't just good, it's essential for our well-being. @AidHoover @dilippant @LibertadorCymru @UCAROffice

@AfPeacebuilding @Cnx_Us Very curious! I wonder if the notion of peace itself challenges how 'impact' is often framed?
