@nrthprkwy @willlivillliw @SockDemFan @helloooobyebye @TheOmniLiberal Would you be cool with Mexico joining a military alliance with Russia? And then putting rockets and troops there?

@Ryanhakurei @mike1010011 @reddit_lies I agree. If I were going to try to lose weight solely from cardio it would be all diet, sprints, and some long long runs. Combo of sprints, dynamic weight training, stretching, and a little bit of long cardio is the key. But they refuse to do it let alone consistently

Not to be some hardo but those ppl just going and hitting the bike or treadmill are getting out exactly what they put in. So many people just go through the motions working out, thinking it will make them look better. While it’s better than nothing you have to actually push yourself to some form of failure or high intensity. You should be dripping sweat or heart racing when you’re done at the gym or else why did you go?

Unless you own your own shop then you don’t like more immigration as a skilled laborer. Objectively, increasing the supply of labor decreases the value of labor in the market. And we haven’t even started the conversation about the horrible power dynamics the employer has over illegal/migrant workers and suppressing their wages and increasing their hours. There is no counter argument. That is what happens. Let the value of labor skyrocket so they can all earn a good living and we can actually put many of the 35% unemployed working age men into the workforce with a good chance of earning a nice living. Then the value of labor eventually comes down as more American workers step in to take these higher wage jobs.

Ok and that is something the wife should be able to discuss with him and they figure out a plan to get through it since they took vows and especially since they have kids. I’m so sick of ppls flippant attitudes towards marriage. There’s a reason marriage means nothing but a legal contract today. So the wife (or husband) can up and leave whenever they want and take half of your stuff? It’s bs. You shouldn’t be getting married if you’re going to divorce when times get tough. That’s the point of marriage. You should only be paying alimony/child support as a man if you cheated or abused them or something obviously extreme that I would be missing. Especially if you live in a pro-choice state - this convo has many specifics by state I don’t feel like typing. There is so much wrong with the legal incentive structure for modern marriage and relationships (which also extends to child support)

@meshoggoth @AaronErickson @dvassallo Ok so again why does she deserve half of his stuff? Unless it abuse or cheating you shouldn’t be rewarded for breaking your vows that you signed up for life

@DougChampion @AaronErickson @dvassallo Glad you got all that from me asking a simple question… Women have privilege in the court system compared to men and it needs to change. It’s about time men have the same rights as women
