We are all devastated at the passing of our caretaker and friend, Micky Cornock. The school will not be the same without him. Micky was a much loved member of our school family. We are going to miss him so much.
Thank you to Mrs. Faulkner, Miss Rose, Miss Law, Mrs. Young, Miss Bayliss, Mrs. Childs, Mrs. Smith and the children for a wonderful time at
@ManorAdventure
.
We want to ensure pupils, staff and families stay safe. We will work out our approach to the new measures once we have guidance. Arrangements remain the same: childcare is available in school for key worker children, those with an EHCP and those with a social worker.
All children slept well but there were a few early risers - Mr. Roberts didn’t appreciate the Wake Up song! A bit of a wet start but everyone excited and raring to go. Canoeing and kayaking two of the activities today.
Morning, everyone slept well (straight through) and we are up and getting ready for breakfast. Canoeing, kayaking, archery and zip wire are some of the activities today.
I opened my end of year cards and presents today. Thank you so much to the wonderful families from Shipston, Acorns and Brailes schools for the beautifully worded cards, mug, photo album, cufflinks, glasses, book, chocolates, pen, book tokens and wine.

After talking with staff from Shipston, Acorns and Brailes, plus other local Headteachers, we are going to reassess the situation at 6am. Aiming to be open but need to ensure safety of families and staff driving to school.

Thanks to
@YearOutDrama
for coming to sing to staff as part of our Staff Room Advent Calendar. They also sang carols to Year 4 for their

Playlist topic. They were amazing.
Tickets for our production of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat will be on sale to all year groups later today from the school office. Performances are on 9th and 11th July, 7pm. The price is £4.50 per ticket.
For
#AntiBullyingWeek
next week children and staff may wear odd socks every day to promote this themed week and show that it is good to be different and everyone is unique.
We’re raring to go and looking forward to welcoming the children back to school tomorrow. Please remember to social distance on the way to and from school and on the playground.
Congratulations to our Year 6 children - entering multiple teams in the
@ShipstonRugby
festival and winning the trophy and fair play award. They were delighted but commented that
@acornshead
and
@brailesschool
were very polite too.
