The Terrell County Sheriff’s Office worked an accident on Highway 285 near 30-mile hill that involved two semi-trucks. The highway was shut down for a bit, but is now fully open. Thank you to TxDOT, Border Patrol, Pecos County SO, Texas Highway Patrol, Texas Volunteer Fire Department and EMS for assisting.

The individual driving this truck was stopped for a traffic violation and subsequently arrested for the possession of a controlled substance. The subject was arrested, booked into jail and the vehicle was impounded. #OperationLoneStar

Three smuggling attempts disrupted in two days…. The Terrell County Sheriff’s Office disrupted another illegal alien smuggling load first thing this morning. One illegal alien was arrested and the group he was here to pickup is being looked for.
