SMS Student Council hosted our Valentine's dance on Friday evening. A great time was had by all. Thank you to all who attended and made it such a fun and successful event for our students.

Work Hard - Play Hard 2nd nine weeks reward day was this afternoon. Students were treated to hot chocolate and had several different options to enjoy as reward for academic & social achievements during the 2nd nine weeks at SMS

SMS celebrated students and teachers that exemplify being responsible. Students were treated to snacks from Chartwells & Mrs. Brittany Walker was recognized for her contributions to our students and staff. Mrs. Walker spoke about the importance of being responsible at SMS.

The Sheridan Jackettes' annual Guy/Girl Dance is tonight! The performance will be at halftime of the Sheridan-Pine Bluff varsity boys game at Yellowjacket Arena. Don't miss it!

Sheridan High School was proud to host a meeting last week of the Arkansas Council for Military Children. The Council is chaired by Colonel (Ret) John Kaminar, the Military Family Engagement Advisor for the Arkansas Department of Education.

Today at SMS during enrichment time we recognized our 7th Graders who made the all A's honor roll & the all A's and B's honor roll for the second 9 weeks. We also recognized students with perfect attendance. Please help us congratulate these Yellowjackets!

SMS PE Teachers are currently involved a month long speed and agility class for several students grades 6-8. Coach Moore, Coach Blend and Coach Williamson are tracking progress of all students involved. We are looking forward to seeing the results of each student's efforts.
