We’re looking forward to welcoming @GoerneMatthias back to Shanghai as our Artist in Residence! Did you know that his first instrument was actually the cello? However, after performing a solo in a children’s opera house choir, he knew that singing was what he wanted to do! 🎤

Bruce Liu will join us on 6 & 8 September for our 145th Anniversary & Season Opening concerts, replacing Hilary Hahn who is suffering from a double pinched nerve. We are very grateful to @Bruceliupiano for stepping in at short notice, & wishing @violincase a speedy recovery!
