#FridayFlowers Li Shan (1686—1756) is a painter of the Yangzhou School. In this hanging scroll he painted in the 16th year of the Qianlong reign (1751), he vividly depicted peony, pine tree, stones and wisteria - a flowering plant that symbolizes longevity in Chinese tradition.
