The report said the US.carrier collided with the ship Besiktas-M late Wednesday night while operating in the Mediterranean Sea near Egypt. It added the carrier is in a "safe and stable condition" as its propulsion engines are unaffected, and no flooding was reported.

UPDATE: Local police said the number of injured in the car-ramming incident in #Munich, #Germany is now 28. Markus Soder, Minister-President of #Bavaria, said that an Afghan citizen drove the car into the crowd, causing multiple injuries. This is possibly a terrorist attack based on early police investigation, he said.

UPDATE: At least 20 people were injured in the incident, two of them seriously, local police said. Emergency service personnel are still on site, while helicopter ambulances have been deployed. The person that has been brought under control is the driver of the vehicles, the police added, but says it cannot confirm possible involvement of other people based on the available information so far.

UPDATE: The number of victims in the explosion in #TaichungCity has been revised to 4 killed and 26 injured. The number may still change as effort continues to clean up the scene. The explosion happened at around 11 am local time, in the floor where the mall's food court is located. It is preliminarily believed to be a gas explosion, but it is not yet known whether it was caused by interior construction work.

An explosion at a shopping mall in #Taichung City in the Island of #Taiwan on Feb. 13 morning has left at least 5 people dead and 12 injured, including 5 in critical condition, local media reports. Early information seems to indicate that gas pipes were damaged in an interior decoration project, leading to the explosion.
