Best combination of defense and offense at the catcher position in the country. The secret is out. The numbers back it up.
Walker Janek just a bit under 95 mph average exit velo. That is really good for contact rate he is at, especially with the company he is in.
While a catcher is mainly defense first, Janek has shown that his bat can hold up at the next level. It is a big plus.
