Sevilla is an "underrated" Spanish city SINCE WHEN? We've been overwhelmed by mass tourism for years, especially recently, and coping with all that entails. Trust me, we don't need your "help" with pushing more tourists our way.

Musician died on stage here in Sevilla a couple of weeks ago. I’m just “getting over” Covid (first infection) and am very concerned about this. My own GP told me not to worry because “it’s just like having a cold now”.

It was brutal here again today. Painfully hot 🔥. Even in the shade the hot air while outside made it difficult to breathe. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and these prolonged periods of extreme heat are not normal. Coming here on holiday during the summer is madness.

When you stop off somewhere for a quick beer and end up chatting with the bar owner, then stay for lunch, and then make friends, not only with the owner and staff, but also with 2 couples sitting at other tables, all of us finishing with orujo chupitos together... so much fun.

Erm… Feria takes place in a massive “parking lot” outside the centre of town and is mostly closed to tourists (private casetas). Also, that third pic is Córdoba.

OMG I’ve just booked my first sherry tasting event for early October. Of course tapas tours are still not possible due to, well, reality. But private tastings with proper distancing - no problem! Very excited to be getting back to work. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
