Brad also ran on this platform. Every supplier in the world has to deal with delayed receivables—sad story. That’s what goes with getting government contracts. You’d probably have better luck running on the popular premise that the city needs to ruthlessly audit all these contracts. Also demand that any group receiving city funds stop engaging in protests or politics. Like, why is Make the Road getting millions of dollars? Why is Legal Aid backing legislation and staging walkouts? The fact that you see these politically connected orgs as your constituency is the entire problem with NYC civic life. Utter capture by rent seekers.
