Received a call. My father was rushed to the hospital last night. Fever. Signs of pneumonia on the chest x-ray. Low oxygen levels. He has been tested for COVID-19. Now, we wait for the results as he remains quarantined from the family members who wish to visit him.
He is 85.

After what appears to have been a stroke yesterday, this morning at 7:10, our little Tootsie (Rat Dog) went to sleep for the last time.
We were with her, and she felt our love through the final moment.
