I remember when DOCCS leadership wasn’t saying things like this. Let’s encourage more leaders to do the same. I’m grateful for a DOCCS Cmsr who believes in second chances and that we aren’t defined by our worst moments. Credible messenger from the inside counts.
DOCCS Commissioner Martuscello said, "We can begin to change the narrative so that those impacted by the criminal justice system may be defined by the person they are today, and the totality of their experiences, rather than the worst mistake of their lives.”
