His Self-Determination (VV) party wants full independence from Serbia and rejects foreign control. On the other side? The PDK and LDK, Kosovo’s establishment-backed, pro-EU parties, who have ruled for decades through deals and coalitions. Meanwhile, the Serb List, directly backed by Serbia’s pro-Russia leader Aleksandar Vučić, secured all 10 seats reserved for Serbs and could play kingmaker. Kosovo Serbs do not trust Vucic regime anymore. His affiliated party in Kosovo has the lowest vote since its inception. Lost over 30 percent vote compared to 2021.
The party led by Kosovo's Minister for Communities, Nenad Rasic, has picked up one of the 10 seats reserved for Kosovo Serbs, according to Democracy in Action (DnV). The Vucic regime-affiliated Srpska Lista previously controlled all 10 seats.

Kosovo Prime Minister vows to continue to build up an army to defend his nation from any foreign adversaries coming from neighboring Serbia.
Kosovo PM Kurti: We must leave a strong army for future generations so that Serbia fears for itself and never again considers attacking us. We have increased investments and spending on arms and ammunition a hundredfold. Kosovo will have a munitions factory; we will produce our own drones. Interviewer: Wouldn't it be better to invest in other areas? Kurti: If we didn't have this bad neighbor, I would much rather spend more on education and healthcare.

UDBA heir endorses UDBA heirs. Both opposition candidates' families were Yugoslav communist members of the anti-Kosovo agenda under UDBA security services who actively persecuted the Kosovar voices of freedom. PDK candidate was even a member of the communist Yugoslav youth.
