Today the justice system held the Senate responsible for providing fair maps. Too many times the Republican supermajority bends the rules for their own benefit. Here’s another example of their overreach. I hope we can produce a map that is fair and representative of the people.
Court panel rules that Tennessee's House map is constitutional but its Senate map isn't (because the legislature ignored a provision about counties having sequentially numbered districts). The Tennessee legislature has until the end of January to adopt a new Senate map.
