@Uber May I ask; If a user self-identifies as a service dog handler, and the driver is aware of that, they can still refuse to accept the fare in the first place with no consequences for themselves, can't they?

@servicerotties @sampson_dog Apparently, if a driver attempts to cancel a trip due to a service animal, the app triggers a compliance warning, reminding them that refusal is against the law and confirming their intent to cancel. Uber's backend tracks violations, potentially leading to driver deactivation.

Resigned to his fate alone in a wheelchair because he refused to evacuate without his 2 cats... He saved another cat by contacting the Veterinary Aid Team. The team vet, Pavlina, took care of his 2 cats while he was in hospital. The operation was a success. He will walk again!
