Nossa futebol atingiu o auge nos anos 90, e acho que caiu muito durante 2004-2016 quando nossos melhores jogadores jogavam na Europa, Arábia, China.
O cenário vem mudando com boas administrações (CRF, SEP, Fortaleza, Bahia, etc.)

Quando ele foi pegou na balada antes de um jogo importantíssimo de quartas de final de uma copa do brasil, eu sabia que ele iria flopar.
Não dá pra ser jogador de alto nível com essa mentalidade de anos 90 hoje em dia. O esporte evoluiu e é muito mais físico do que técnico.

While I agree Dani Alves and Marcelo were really phenomenal players, they never really performed to that level for Brazil.
Remember Marcelo played in the 7-1 game, and Dani Alves was benched for Maicon in that world cup because he played so so so bad.
