One final observation. The ESFA representative used his ESFA email account to contact us, making it seem more official, but only mentioned negativity towards Liverpool, not towards ESFA or anything re: Knowsley. Feel free to follow my new account, @SeftonDM Many thanks.

@josiemc17 @SaveKnowsleySFA Agreed to an extent. It can also attract plenty of negativity from unhappy people with the power to make decisions regarding future, as we all now know! So, committee decision stands and this account will be deleted shortly.

@SaveKnowsleySFA To be clear, they aren't forcing us to do anything. We've decided as a committee that we no longer wish to have a social media presence. ESFA representative involved heavily with Liverpool asked us to discuss comments on our timeline in relation to Liverpool SFA.

Completely agree. So why are @SchoolsFootball stopping two Districts playing?
Great comment from a parent: ‘District football is the best football my son plays in. It has an ethos and level of respect that puts it above Academy, JPL & club football.’ Schools rep football at county & district level offers unique & special experiences unavailable elsewhere

@philmcnulty @SaveKnowsleySFA You'd think so, Phil. There's another agenda here. It's horrible to tell a group of 12 year old boys who've had their first opportunity to play District football in years that they've now had it taken away and can't play again, and in turn potentially fold another District.

The Knowsley reps wouldn't go into any details or make any other comments other to say that they have tried their very best to provide an opportunity for boys to play football and this has been stopped by the governing body. They now consider their next steps. What a shame.
