Early thoughts on Jaire Alexander & Josh Jackson...
“Yeah they’re talking a lot, so, I’m going to dice them up a little bit once we get down to it” — Aaron Rodgers
“In 2008 during the changeover you stood by me, you backed me as your starting quarterback and I’ll never forget that loyalty.”
— Aaron Rodgers, re: Ted Thompson
Packers by a fucking million.
Walk in touchdown if he throws it to Doubs — Aaron Rodgers is smart enough to know where the blitz is coming, but throws to “his guy” in Allen Lazard. This is one of his major blind spots, he needs to start trusting the young guys.
if GB decides to move on from MM, I sure hope they bring back Mike Pettine - this defense finally has an attitude, and Fackrell has been unlocked, lol.
Vikings have 6.6M in cap space and they’re likely to lose Sheldon Richardson, Anthony Barr and Anthony Harris in FA.. oh, and, Kirk Cousins has a 29M cap hit.
Me:
Packers haven’t drafted a WR in round one since Javon Walker @ 20 in 2004.
Gutekunst recently talked about being aggressive in the draft, and I predict GB trades up with the Jaguars @ 20. Puts them in front of the Eagles & Vikings.
The Packers will select, Justin Jefferson.
This is the type of throw that reminds me of Aaron Rodgers, or even Patrick Mahomes.
Nobody is open, scrambles to his right, throws an absolute dime off his back foot.
Yes, Jordan Love is unrefined, but he has the tools to be special.
Aaron Rodgers shuts down the narrative of not wanting to be coached.
“The scheme works.. the stuff they (49ers) did against us was unbelievable. We watched on the sidelines and said that was pretty cool” — AR
If you haven’t seen All or Nothing; featuring the Cowboys.. This segment alone is worth your time. I’ve never seen a franchise so scared of one player — Aaron Rodgers is the boogeyman. (audio is delayed)
Remember back in 2016 when GB was struggling on offense prior to playing the Eagles on MNF, and they wanted to get Davante Adams going.. I’m getting similar vibes this week.
Aaron Rodgers has made a lot of money sitting out this game. Whether you dislike him or not, GB needs him to win games for the foreseeable future.
Jordan Love is just not ready.
The biggest take away for me last night is watching Aaron Rodgers step into his throws — he and LaFleur are going to light the league on fire (if healthy).
NFLN is replaying the packers, steelers SB, and I still can’t believe the amount of talent at WR
Jordy Nelson
Greg Jennings
Donald Driver
James Jones
Mike Wallace
Hines Ward
Antonio Brown
Emanuel Sanders
So if Aaron Rodgers is such a dick to his teammates — why would Jordy Nelson say it would be “hard to say no if Rodgers called (retirement).”
.. and why has James Jones, Davante Adams & Casey Hayward all confirm he’s a good teammate.

helmets to three California high schools, including his alma mater Pleasant Valley, in an area affected by wildfires last year.
There’s a very good chance this was Randall Cobb’s last game as a Packer. I know he didn’t live up to his contract, but Cobby brought me many moments of joy. He will be missed.
