Often after one of my Twitter opinions, I would get a text from Derek about politics or sports, like our last exchange about the World Juniors.
Derek was a customer and a friend. My heart aches for Laurie, his family and everyone who knew him
Today is a difficult day as we mourn the loss of our friend and colleague Derek Meyers, MLA for Regina Walsh Acres.
Derek passed away at the age of 45 after a battle with cancer.
Through all of the challenges he faced, Derek remained one of the most upbeat and positive people

Before Covid, this was an entrance for 10 years. It allowed for traffic flow and parking in and out of a very busy facility. It’s unfit to walk around the building with no lighting, snow removal or walkways. Has anyone been able to get an answer about this?

In Leduc for a skating competition this weekend and absolutely blown away by the Rec Centre facility. 3 rinks, 8 sheet curling rink, soccer/lacrosse field, 3 hard court areas, fitness facility, and a swimming pool. Outside it’s perfectly manicured and has ball diamonds & dog park

For my hockey friends in the crowd, here’s a shot from our LBMHA goalie session this morning. We run about 6-8 of these every season. Goalie coaches + older goalies out as mentors. No charge for our players to hone their skills or try the position for the first time.
