@4ChordsNoNet But more importantly, isn’t it bad design to have a loading bay in a cycle lane at all. I mean the danger from traffic doesn’t stop at 7pm

@freddie_poser Before we expand London, let’s take a bulldozer to this low density crap that forms a multi-mile noose around the city and replace it with 6 storey+ mansion blocks, at least any of it within 500m of a metro station

@freddie_poser Would be interested to see Madrid by comparison, love coming into it by train and seeing high rise next to open countryside. Apart from satellite towns I believe it’s urban footprint hasn’t grown much.

@AntBreach The arguments involved are far older though, and even the activism. For me the 2009 book Green Metropolis was the clarion call. This article might have been more influenced in tech communities perhaps?

@irratyonal Hi, we won’t be applying immediately but maybe in a few months if it’s busy and/or if I want to go back onto the road sourcing books instead of being behind the counter.

@WestcottMark @StokeyUpdates I like this - Nathan who will be working with me in shop was prompted by this to suggest Defoe and Poe due to local literary links (evidence courtesy of the Rochester castle)

@AaronBastani They’re also getting urbanism right - when to Paris last week and initially thought it was empty compared with London due to how quiet it was, but then realised it because hardly any cars in the centre, just bikes and pedestrians.
