Here’s the latest on Storm Eowyn as it drifts north. Big gusts to come in the north of the country this evening and some snow too… Fife, Dundee and Aberdeenshire coast have had some huge gusts in the last few hours.

Drumalbin in South Lanarkshire has just recorded its strongest gust on record, beating the big Boxing Day storm of 1998.

Tiree recorded a low pressure reading of 941.5mb at around 8.30am this morning, which looks like the lowest January reading in Scotland since 1995.
