@nadomatt @ShaneTHazel Correct, it’s just a negotiation tactic. And no one is better at this than Trump

@MorlockP That is my understanding of the process as well As far as the general bidding process for USG contracts go I can tell you that we had lower margins on USG business than on our largest customer, which was Amazon. But there are clearly areas where the process is broken

@MJSmithUSA @datagod @amuse Debatable if they insist on building multi-billion dollar obsolete ships

I noticed the same. He came across like a hostage forced to read a script. He’s appears to be trying to thread the needle between maintaining the empire and civilian control of government. I think it’s an either/or proposition. If you can’t tell whether an agency is acting on behalf of the public, engaging in rampant corruption, or just funding lunatic left-wing causes it’s not worth the risk.

@stan_p_bluepill @elonmusk The president is the only elected member of the executive branch. Are you suggesting everyone else who works for the president is illegitimate?

Mike you really seemed to be trying to thread the needle here between maintaining the empire and civilian control over government. Seems to me the only assurance we have that USAID is working for the benefit of the Americans people is their word. That’s far too great a risk for an uncertain and unmeasurable benefit

@allenanalysis Well that isn’t the final say. We don’t live in a country ruled by the judiciary

@TuckerCarlson Sounds like Mike is trying to thread the needle between maintaining the empire and citizen control of government. Seems to me it’s an either/or proposition-we can’t have both

@RachelBitecofer How about we keep those parts and get rid of the trans shows for kids and internet censorship? Or are you saying it’s a package deal?

@RealDustinM I think they were also used in an attempt to influence US domestic politics. Most NAFO accounts I encountered had pro-Democrat, anti-Republican tweets, many on issues that had nothing to do with Ukraine. It couldn’t have been organic.

@DaleStarkA10 @LivesObi This was obvious to me given that so many pro-Ukrainian accounts had such a keen interest in domestic US politics-always in favor of the Democrat policies and against anything Republican

@RepSaraJacobs Why on earth should I or any American care about Indonesian women farmers lack of access to capital? Do you realize how ridiculous this sounds? I don’t even think this would qualify as a worthwhile charity.
