I’ve got some news to share as I start the next chapter of my career. It isn’t one I chased or saw coming, but it is one that has absolutely re-energized me! I'm thrilled to share that I've joined @LootLabsXYZ as their CMO! It’s a huge next step for me, one that I feel my 15 years in gaming at Access, 2K, and Ascendant has prepared me for. I'll be expanding our marketing team and building the company’s brand, collaborating with product development as the voice of our customers and assisting with new gaming partnerships. Look out for job openings soon! Loot Labs is a gaming-adjacent start-up backed by @BITKRAFTVC and others, and is the creator of @BoxedTCG, a trading card game service that empowers #Pokemon and #MagicTheGathering collectors to open packs online and have cards shipped to their homes. As a lifelong collector of sports/comic cards, action figures, and comic books, I believe Boxed is poised to modernize this hobby for the next generation of collectors. And, if you’re at all familiar with the #CounterStrike scene, you can imagine how a service like Boxed could expand into digital gaming cosmetics and in-game items to serve the same purpose. As for @AscendantStudio, I have transitioned to their board of advisors and will remain involved in the future of this talented game studio. I'm so, so proud of our achievements with @ImmortalsAveum and the many “firsts” we experienced together. To say this was an entrepreneurial experience of a lifetime would be an understatement, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. I am so grateful to @BretRobbins, Spencer, Kevin, Mark, Bogan, Julia, Jason, Joe and the many others who trusted and empowered me. You brought out the best in me and re-invigorated my love for the video game industry. Thank you! I am so proud of my team — Kit, @TessGames, Lauren — and how much we accomplished as a small group. Thank you for following me! Anyone who knows me, knows how passionate and driven I am to build new things, so you can imagine how I’m feeling going into this next start-up adventure! Milan @skizcollects, Matt, Jeremy, Elliott, Ross and the Loot Labs team have already launched a successful service and business in its own right, and yet there is still so much untapped opportunity to accelerate growth and take our company to the next level. I can’t wait to realize the massive potential in front of us. Keep your eyes out for what we’re building at Loot Labs!

Long live the grand daddy of #4v1! Evolve is 10 years old this month (yesterday, actually). It’s still one of the most fun games I’ve ever played and Top 3 most memorable that I’ve worked on. I hope one day TRS can reclaim the IP and take another swing at it!
