6 years ago, a health condition disabled me. 2 years ago, my mom had a hemorrhagic stroke. My spouse has a connective tissue disorder (EDS) that disables her. It took these things for me to start questioning how disability is viewed in buildings, architecture, and design.

@kristinaEBP If you are an athlete about to perform in one of the most important events of your life (Super Bowl, Olympics, etc), I don’t know how you aren’t wearing a mask when in any public situation.

@ATR3lDES I am a huge sci fi fan, loved part 1, but I just don’t see this as the best movie of the year. Sing Sing is like maybe 10000x better.

@MollyVegas That’s sort of the point. No one should be interested on a SA plot line. It’s fucked up. And it’s even more fucked up that people are celebrating it online.

@MollyVegas Hilary, Severance is one of the deepest and most complex shows on TV right now. If you didn’t pick up on sexual assault there and refuse to acknowledge it, then I don’t know what to tell you.

@bpnjm @acquisizioni Yes that is also incredibly problematic, but wouldn’t meet modern code. Code is a fickle beast. It misses the mark on a fair amount of build science air quality issues.

@Npurple98 Anything that features sexual assault is serious. I don’t care if it’s fiction. I don’t have an issue with the scene or the show, but I do have an issue with thousands of people agreeing that scene made them horny, as it minimizes the severity of the situation.

@MichaelMobility @acquisizioni I like them for resilience measures, for extreme weather or power outage scenarios. I’d never suggest it as a primary heat source. I’d love to see your IAQ data if you’re willing to share. I took these readings while staying at a cabin with a nice wood burning stove in Ontario.
