Wheeling is still recovering from Tuesday morning’s storm amidst another day with a heat index over 100° I had a chance to speak with some of the impacted citizens yesterday.

@Hersh_WVU @SeanManning_1 Came here to say this. The apartment building was supposed to be an anchor for a MUCH larger development that would have completely changed the intersection. There was/is even a TIF district set up to help fund it, but the apartment developers went bankrupt.

It is now 91° and rising in Wheeling. My weather app says the heat index already is up to 108°, 3° more than the forecast of 105°. Its expected to get as hot as 95° this afternoon.
