Today we say goodbye to Mrs Wicks after 28 years of service to our school family. We wish her a very happy and well deserved retirement! The children in key stage one presented Mrs Wicks with hand made cards this morning in a little celebration to celebrate her time with us 🌟

Evening activities all finished. Great teamwork to make a protective case for a water balloon. Sadly, none of the water balloons survived the drop but good fun was had by all. Night night - the children are all getting ready for bed now.

A huge well done to the children from Year 5 that took part in the dodgeball competition today. They were awarded points for showing respect, honesty and teamwork. They were a super team and came first out of all the schools attending! Well done to everyone that took part.

New library opening
We had after school drop in sessions last week and sessions every hour today to use the library space! More than 100 children and parents have been in our new library! We hope you all love it as much as we do and we thank you all for your continued support!📚

We are excited to unveil our new competition sports kit! We now have kit available in to fit children from Year 1 to Year 6 so everyone can match when representing our school. We can’t wait for competitions to start so we can show off our super sports stars and their new kit.

Year 6S have been reading every night and had an outstanding 131 tickets entered into the reading raffle! As a sign of recognition for their amazing effort, Miss Grove bought a book for the class that the class chose. The class decided on Boy Giant by Michael Morpurgo!

Y5 was transformed into a Victorian prison and the children became the prisoners. Each exercise was designed to be repetitive, boring and pointless so that the children could really see what life inside was like...(they couldn’t handle it 😂)
